Are you interested in serving on the Boone County Central Committee or joining one of our working subcommittees?  If you are interested in becoming a committee member, you may join in one of two ways:  Elected or by filling vacancies.  The next election will be the August 2026 primary.  In the meantime, you may join by filling vacancies.

  1. See the list of filled positions at the end of this document.
  2. Check your voter registration card to determine the Ward, Township or precinct in which you vote.
  3. Review the list to see if there is a person already serving on the committee for your ward or township.  If so, then check to see if there is someone serving from your precinct.  If not, then come to a couple of meetings (held the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Roger B Wilson Govt building in Columbia) and state your desire to join.

You do not need to be a committee member to serve on one of our subcommittees.  Or if you have an idea for a subcommittee would like to lead, that is a possibility.
